On Saturday December 17, 2011 KCOB and attorney-at-law, Delano Franklyn shared matrimonial vows with graphic artist Tricia Shay Grey at UWI Mona Chapel.
Dressed in a designer suit with his purple tie, the PNP campaign spokesman sweated profusely as 4:00 pm passed and the bride was nowhere in sight. Best man Warren Blake kept re-assuring him whilst mopping the face.
Suddenly his anxiety broke into a smile as the bridal party made a grand entry to the 'here comes the bride' music accompaniment. Rev. Oliver Daley piloted the official ceremony culminating in signing of the marriage certificate. At this point, the congregation broke into rapturous applause as the newlyweds walked down the aisle.
The couple then greeted guests as they filed past the exit of the chapel. Among the guests were former Prime Minister PJ Patterson, former GG Kenneth and wife Rhema Hall, Lord Bishop of Jamaica and the Cayman Islands, Rt. Rev. Dr Alfred C Reid, Burchell and Jo Whiteman, Dr Omar Davies, Paul and Angella Brown- Burke, Derrick Havens and Dr Vin Lawrence. Also in attendance were KCOBs Dr. Patrick Dallas, HG Helps, Derrick Dennicer, Charley Grant, Dr Winston Davidson, AB Stewart Stephenson and Basil Waite
