Ten current KC students have been selected to receive cash awards under the George Thompson Memorial Scholarship Fund administered by the Atlanta KC Old Boys Association.
The students are:

Theodore Ellis 9 Hardie
Denis Gray 9 Miller
Shemar Hunter 8 Forrest
Dontae Jackson 8 Holding
Joshua Swaby 8 McDonald
Jaaziel Thompson 9 Francis
Gifton Wright 8 Francis
The awards are good for one year. Each year different recipients may be chosen but it is possible for a student to win the award more than once. Factors that will be considered in awarding the scholarships include: Attitude, behavior, need, leadership ability, academics and athletic skill.
Scholarship awards are funded by donations to the fund and the KCOBA Annual Scholarship Fund Dance held in Atlanta.
Awards are also made to KC Old Boys who are enrolled in an accredited University.
Scholarship proceeds will be paid to Kingston College on behalf of student awardees and in the case of Old Boy scholarships, to the institution at which awardees are enrolled.
