Two KC Old Boys are recipients of cash awards from the George Thompson Memorial Scholarship fund for the new semester.  They are Lemmar Wilson and Dwayne Powell.

Lemmar Wilson will be attending the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, California this fall.  He will be pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree specializing in architecture on a partial track scholarship. He attended Kingston College from 2005 until 2012.

Dwayne Powell is currently attending Columbus State University in Columbus, Georgia in the Southern United States where he is studying computer science.  He attended Kingston College from 2001 until 2009.

These are the latest George Thompson Awards made to KC old boys this year.  The fund also makes awards to students still attending Kingston College.  Ten student awards were announced recently.

The George Thompson Memorial Fund was established by the KCOBA Atlanta chapter to honor the memory of legendary KC Old boy, and KC and Jamaica national football coach of the same name.
