KCOB and Olympic Bronze Medalist in the 110m hurdles, Hansle Parchment, signed a deal with Jamaican Food and Financial Conglomerate GraceKennedy to become a Brand Ambassador. He will be the face of the company’s Aloe Vera beverage.
Parchment took the bronze medal in the men's 110m hurdles at the 2012 London Olympic Games and became the first Jamaican to medal in this event at the Olympics. In doing so he set a new Jamaican record in a time of 13.12 seconds. His previous best was 13.18 at the Jamaican Olympic Trials.
Parchment has the distinction of being the first local-based Jamaican to win a national sprint hurdles title, the first university student to qualify for the Olympic sprint hurdles and the first Jamaican University Games hurdles Champion.
Parchment is studying psychology at the University of the West Indies (UWI). He came to KC in grade 13 from Morant Bay High.
