The George Thompson Memorial Scholarship Fund was established by the Atlanta chapter of the Kingston College Old Boys’ Association in memory of the legendary and beloved Kingston College Old Boy and Jamaica National Football coach of the same name.
The scholarship fund’s goal is to assist current students at Kingston College as well as Old Boys with their educational expenses. There are two components to the fund: the student awards and the Old Boys’ Scholarship.
The George Thompson scholarship fund also has a KC student component and recently made 10 scholarships available to students attending KC for the 2013/2014 academic year. These awards were presented at the recent scholarship awards ceremony held at the school.
