Six Kingston College students were admitted to medical school at the University of the West Indies for the 2013/14 academic year. It marked the first time in the school's 88-year history that six graduates were admitted to the medical program at the UWI in any one year.

The six students are: Kiejarnie Porter, Antoine Fraser, Jevaughn Wynter, Shermon Spence, Tevin Banhan, and Stephan Neill.

They were honored recently in a special function hosted by the KC Old Boys Association at the Experience in St. Andrew.  The school’s Principal Mr. Dave Myrie, Dr. Ray Fraser, president of the Jamaica chapter of the KC Old Boys’ Association, prominent Attorney-at-Law, K. Churchill Neita as well as other officials of the KC Old Boys’ Association were also in attendance.
