New Year is the time to remember all the Fortis memories we share, all our accomplishments, all the joys and support poured out as distance is the last thing that can prevent us from celebrating our Fortis brotherhood.

The Board of KCOBA USA Inc. is sincerely appreciative of your contributions to our mission to provide assistance to our beloved alma mater, Kingston College, its alums and our local community.

Whether you have attended fundraising events; placed advertisements in the Journal for the Annual Reunion Dinner; paid your membership dues and contributed directly to one of the many programs undertaken by this association, you would have helped to successfully underwrite the FortisCare Backpack project (New), Joyce Baxter Math Club, Scholarship Program, Nutrition Program, Prize Giving, Sport Programs, and Etiquette Workshop (New).

Importantly, your pledges and contributions to the KC Library & Technology Capital Campaign has been significant. Our US$302,650.00 target is within reach. If you have not made your pledge or contribution to this campaign, don’t miss the opportunity.

Donors (Individuals/Chapters/Classes) who contribute US$2500 or more will have their names etched in the main hall of the completed Douglas Forrest building. All donors are asked to make their biggest donations ever, pay as much of it upfront in the next 6 months and spread the rest over the next 18 months.

Our strategy is to be in receipt of at least 50% of stated goal by or before June 1, 2014 so we can start the work on completing the Douglas Forrest Building, our biggest line item in the project. See campaign document and pledge form below for your consideration.

Our main goal for 2014 is to contribute to our alma mater’s development plans for KC library, technology and infrastructure upgrades. Our first fundraiser for the year will be the 4th Annual Winter Dance with St Hugh’s Alumnae Association, March 8, 2014 at Adria Hotel & Conference Room, 221-17 Northern Blvd, Bayside, NY 11361.

Make your tax deductible contribution online at: www.kcobany.org/donations.aspx and feel free to contact Perry Bloomfield for more details: perry@kcobany.org | 215.908.7694.

Download our Holiday eCard with Calendar of Events below to keep up with our fundraisers and other Fortis events worldwide.
