Atlanta Old Boy starts new radio show

The Anthony Williams Show (TAWS) debuted recently on the Atlanta Broadcasting Network.  It can be heard on Thursday nights from 8:00 pm - 9:00 pm on WIGO 1570 AM or online at http://abnlive.net.

Williams has accumulated a wealth of experience in various industries both in Jamaica and the United States. He has worked at some of the top companies in Jamaica including Bank of Jamaica, Mutual Life Insurance Company and Sigma Investments. Also, he worked at some of the leading Fortune 500 companies in the USA including Bank of America, IBM, Coca-Cola and Siemens. The span of his experience ranges from that of a central banker to areas in marketing, sales and information technology.

He believes it is the duty of every citizen to be engaged in the political and civic affairs of his or her state. To be fully engaged, he believes one must be informed about the issues. He likes to engage those around him in conversations about life in general as a means of sharing information and testing his own convictions.  As host of “The Anthony Williams Show”, he hopes to use the show as a medium to engage his listeners in a fun and informative way.

Williams is very active in his community. Supporting charitable causes is high on his agenda. As President of the Kingston College Old Boys Association (GA), he leads an organization that has contributed to fulfilling the educational needs of inner-city children both in Jamaica and the USA.

He has bachelor degrees in Economics and Philosophy from the University of the West Indies and Georgia State University respectively. In his spare time, likes to play table tennis, read and watch sports or comedies. His professional associations include:
