KC has benefitted handsomely from a New Year’s Eve Birthday bash put on by Far East entrepreneur, Glenn Hershey, for his lovely wife, Christine.

Former KC Old Boy Wayne Hewett, CEO of Arysta LifeScience, a global agri-science and dynamic health and nutrition company, was instrumental along with his father Audley Hewett in getting help for KC at this event.

Glenn Hershey wanted an exotic location to host a birthday party for his wife on New Year’s Eve. Runaway Bay in Jamaica emerged as the chosen venue.
All the guests flew in from Overseas, and rather than bestowing tangible gifts to his wife, the hosting couple asked that their guests in lieu of these gifts, those attending donate to a charity recommended by Hewetts – KCOBA.
The party was a swinging success. Audley Hewett was able to secure the famous Jamaican Fab 5 band to entertain the crowd. The band wowed the guests in splendid fashion by treating them to  an ensemble of hits by overseas artists with a touch of our ' island beat. '

During the festivities, Audley presented Mrs. Christine Hershey --birthday girl—with a KC cup.

KC in return was handed a donation of some Eight Thousand Dollars ($8,000USD). All this the result of two KC old Boys’ help in ensuring that Entrepreneur Glenn Hershey had a splendid party for his wife's birthday.
