Mr. Donald Bookal, former board member of KCOBA New York chapter died of the Coronavirus. He served on the board during the 1980’s and was the land Parish Administrator of St Luke's Episcopal Church, Bronx, NY.
New York is considered the epicenter of the virus outbreak in the United States. About half of all cases reported to date have been in New York.
Health experts said the answers to why the area has been affected so much are largely specific to the New York metropolitan area -- its density and population, primarily -- but they are also a warning to other states that think they may be spared.
