Legendary Old Boy and Penn Relays Track Coach tells his story

Donovan Travers Audley Davis was student #1251 at Kingston College. He would go to achieve academic and sports success.

Davis is well known as KC’s coach of the first Jamaican high school to compete at the prestigious Penn Relays in Philadelphia in 1964. Some fifty years later, we now have dozens of Jamaican schools making the annual trek to compete in this famous relay carnival.

In Nuff Lemonade, he shares openly how he navigated the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune to carve out his own place in this world.

Davis was able to make nuff lemonade from the many lemons that life threw at him. His memoir is outstanding for its clarity and honesty.

It is a most enjoyable read that will make you think and also make you laugh. KC Old Boys especially can relate to his school days and enjoy the inside story of our journey to Penn Relays success.
