It was on Christmas Eve in 1971 when the Rev. E. Don Taylor (former headmaster of Kingston College) conducted a wedding ceremony at KC’s St Augustine’s Chapel.

The bride and groom were St. Hugh’s Past Student, Janet Evans and KC Old Boy Michael Walters, one of Rev. E. Don Taylor’s students.

Christmas Eve 2021 will be 50 years since that ceremony during which Rev. Don T lamented that the KC Choir was not able to add their rendition to the day.

Reverend Don Taylor will always have a place in Janet and Michael’s hearts. They were very happy to have reunited with him at Kingston Parish Church 39 years later ( KC Times | Couple Reunited with Bishop E. Don Taylor after 39 Years ).

Some 18,263 days after that wedding day they have travelled all over the world to 32 countries, 30 US states and now have descendants of three children and seven grandchildren.
