Khijani Williams, a former Kingston College Head Boy, graduated from Nova Southeastern University (“Nova”) in Davie, Florida on May 4, 2026.
A Finance major with a minor in Economics and Venture Creation, he achieved a GPA of 3.99 and was the Valedictorian for the 3-year Huizenga Business Innovation Academy program. He is a also a former winner of the Nova Student Life Achievement Award for outstanding performance and service.
“As I reflect on my college journey, I am grateful to my family, especially my mother, for their love and support. Without them, I could not have achieved my goals.”
Khijani’s mother, Keisha Anderson, is understandably proud of her son’s achievements: “My son, you are disciplined, always eager to challenge any task, hungry for success, and born to be a high achiever. Never stop believing in the greatness within you, because with your determination and hard work, there is nothing you cannot accomplish.”
“Congratulations, Khijani. I am proud of the man you are growing into. Continue on this path, continue making strides, and always remember to be a leader like your dad, never a follower”, says his father, Sandy Williams.
“In addition, I truly have to recognize the tremendous role the KCOBs played throughout the years. From day one, the support of Mr. Audley Hewett and Everton Bailey from the South Florida Chapter helped make my transition much easier. I also have to recognize Kingston College’s Headmaster Mr. Dave Myrie, who has been one of my strongest supporters from even before my college journey began and has continued to encourage me throughout the years.
This last semester especially, during difficulties with my tuition, graduating would not have been possible without the support of the wider KCOB family and its various chapters. I want to particularly acknowledge Winston Stewart, who spearheaded much of this effort alongside the different chapter presidents.
I also want to specially recognize old boys such as Dr. Selbourne Goode, Keith Mullings, Hurley Haynes, and Christopher Hunt, all of whom played a tremendous role through their contributions, encouragement, and continued support along the way.
I am deeply grateful to the entire KCOBA family for helping make this achievement possible.”
Khijani’s academic journey is emblematic of the KC spirit of courage in the face of adversity, and commitment to excellence and service. We are extremely proud of his achievements, and eagerly await the next chapter of his inspiring life story.
