The Kingston College Old Boys Association of Georgia (KCOBA GA Inc.) brought alumni, family, and friends together for a memorable day of fellowship and fun at its annual picnic, “Summer in the Park 2026,” held on June 7 at Rhodes Jordan Park's Stanley R. Gunter Pavilion in Lawrenceville, Georgia.
Blessed with beautiful sunshine and pleasant weather, attendees enjoyed a vibrant atmosphere filled with music, games, great food, and camaraderie. The event featured a variety of activities designed to appeal to all ages, ensuring an enjoyable experience for everyone in attendance.
Entertainment was provided by Anthony Williams aka DJ Cuban and Laga, whose lively musical selections kept the energy high throughout the day. Guests also participated in friendly competitions and social games, including cards, dominoes, and Ludo, creating a festive environment that celebrated the enduring bonds of the Kingston College community.
Food lovers were treated to an impressive selection of authentic Jamaican cuisine available for purchase. Popular menu items included succulent Jerk Chicken, flavorful Jerk Pork, and delicious Escovitch Snapper, all of which were well received by attendees.
Beyond the enjoyment and fellowship, the event served a meaningful purpose. Proceeds from the picnic will support Kingston College High School in Jamaica, helping to fund educational initiatives and programs that benefit current and future students.
