KC Student Athlete Receives Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce Pocket Rocket Scholarship

JOVAINE ATKINSON AND HIS MOTHER WITH SHELLY-ANN FRASER PRYCE

Jovaine Atkinson who has represented KC in the 110m hurdles was among seven students from seven high schools across Jamaica who received the inaugural Shelly-Ann Fraser Pryce Pocket Rocket Foundation Scholarship.

The scholarship is valued at $100,000 each and students received a check for 50% of that award.   read more

Seventeen year old Jayzon Brooks headed the list of KC students who sat CSEC 2013 with passes in 11 subjects.

Six Kingston College students were admitted to medical school at the University of the West Indies for the 2013/14 academic year. It marked the first time in the school's 88-year history that six graduates were admitted to the medical program at the UWI in any one year.
