Son of Atlanta KCOB to play in Arena Football League
Ramon Chin-Young is the son of Atlanta KCOB Chris Chin-Young. He was a four-year starter at center for Southern University. The offensive lineman was a two-time First Team All-SWAC (Southwestern Athletic Conference) player and a First Team All-Louisiana player in 2009.
Chin-Young participated in the Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) Bowl and the Winn Dixie Grid Iron Classic all-star games after his collegiate tenure, starting in both contests and serving as the team captain in the HBCU Bowl.
"I feel like this is a great opportunity," said Chin-young. "My offensive line coach in college always told me that he felt that Arena Football would be the best league for me to further my development. It's a blessing and I am looking forward to coming in and making big things happen."
We wish Ramon all the best in his new appointment and look forward to seeing him in action.
