The Fortis Brigade recently captured the All-Island TT title by overwhelming a talented Manchester High squad 5-0. The Purples had marched into the finals and secured urban bragging rights following their third 5-0 whipping of North Street neighbours STGC.
The Manchester boys appeared overawed at the sight of the Purple & White on the opposite side of the table and were unable to conjure up the type of performance they had produced in the rural final when they shocked the highly favoured Belair squad.
Congratulations are in order for the team, comprised of: Skipper Glen-Ross McDonald, Jermaine James, Jordan "Smasher" Hazle, Korey Moulton and Dexter Mears as well as coach Colin McNeish.
