Several KC Old Boys receive National Honors in 2015

Professor Elizabeth Thomas-Hope shares a happy moment with Ambassador Stephen Vasciannie (centre) and Dr. Robert Wan during the National Honours and Awards ceremony held at King's House on National Heroes Day, October 19, 2015.

All three received the Officer of Distinction award in the rank of Commander.

Professor Thomas-Hope got hers for her work in "Caribbean Migration and Environmental Management", Ambassador Vasciannie for "Outstanding Contribution to Education, Law and International Relations."

Dr. Robert Wan, like Vasciannie is a KC Old Boy, got his for "Outstanding Contribution in Medicine and Community Service." He is best known to KC Old Boys for his work with the Kingston College Chapel where he serves as its chairman.

Other KC Old Boys receiving national honors included Donovan Germain and Harold Butler, for music; and Ralston Hyman, O.D., for journalism.
