Fortis track and field athletes at the Paris Olympic Games 2024

With a few days to go before the start of the track and field events at the Paris Olympic Games, we will look at the Fortis athletes who will be representing Jamaica.

At the end of the Games we will analyze their accomplishments, which hopefully will include stellar performances and medals.

In addition to the athletes, KC old boy Garth Gayle will be in Paris as president of the Jamaica Athletics Administrative Association while another old boy and ex-president of the Association Dr. Warren Blake will be the team doctor.

Renown hurdles coach Lennox Graham will also be there as a personal coach to one of the female hurdlers.

Zharnel Hughes was born in Anguilla and now represents Great Britain. He attended KC from 2013-2014. At the Olympics, he will compete in the 100m, 200m and 4x100m relay.

We wish Team Jamaica all the best as all the athletes strive to bring home medals for themselves and our nation.
